Gilbert Shellbach is one of Filburt and Paula Hutchison's children. He has appeared as a baby in "From Here to Maternity" and "Closet Clown", but appeared as a teenager in "Future Schlock".
In Static Cling, he reunited with his father when he came back.

Not much is known about Gilbert, although it can be assumed from his outfit that he is either a scientist or enjoys science fiction.
